Shamil Nurmagomedov (born March 2, 1989) is a retired Russian mixed martial artist who competed in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. He is a former World Fighting Championship Akhmat champion, winning the title in 2014. Nurmagomedov retired from professional MMA in 2018 with a record of 13 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no contest. He is also the cousin of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
